Spatial Audio and Mixed Reality in the Context of Accessible Interactions in the Game of Pétanque

«PARABOULE» explores the use of spatial audio in the precision sport of pétanque. The result is a portable and modular mixed-reality framework consisting of a smartphone app, headphones and electronically augmented equipment. The setup enables non-visual participation in standard boules matches, making it particularly suitable for visually impaired individuals. While primarily designed for training, the system is also adaptable for competitive use.
