«In Engiadin’Ota»

«O mia chera Engiadina cu mê vo que a fin, cha quista suldüna nu saja tieu destin»

«In Engiadin’Ota» is a visual exploration of the negative consequences of the conspicuous multilocality in the Upper Engadin. This work documents the imbalances in our society through the lens of this region. Physical absences caused by secondary residences stand in contrast to the thriving local capitalism, its status symbols and consumerism. The Upper Engadin is a model of the failure of capitalism as well as an expression of the ever-widening gap between our social classes.
