There are Dragons above Us
Day after day, they fly from the mighty mountains to the calm sea and back again. An old myth says that dragons fly over the city of Hong Kong, bringing happiness and harmony. With modernity came the skyscrapers, gradually obscuring the mythical creatures from our view. Whether capitalist mystification or serious belief: the impact of Chinese mythology can be felt in Hong Kong to this day. I wanted to investigate this lived mythology, so I followed the path of the dragons with my camera and embraced the mystical atmosphere of this city.
