Gothic script, which once characterized parts of Europe, disappeared almost completely from the Central European writing landscape in the 20th century, partly because of its connection to National Socialism. In contrast, it remained present in Central America and flowed into the graphic expression of hip-hop through cultural exchange with African-American communities in the south of the USA. The work presents a new interpretation of Gothic lettering. Inspired by hip-hop, it retains its calligraphic character and is adapted to modern reading habits.
