This research is concerned with the design and production of an online news format making scientific 3D more accessible to public discourse – by simplifying design and production of 3D specifically for the browser. A solution is proposed and tested in the form of a story template which lets users scroll through different perspectives of a 3D city scene, alongside text and other animated graphics.
