Allowing Electronic Musicians to Design How Their Digital Instrument Feels
The project Waviic is a MIDI controller that enables electronic musicians to customise their tactile experience. Through a companion software, individual components on the device can be customised in order to meet each musician’s needs. This process elicits a sense of intimacy through the haptic behaviours and associations it creates for those who interact with it.
