A Story from the Ice
The Bow-Sheath of Schnidejoch Pass
For 4800 years, this bow-sheath was preserved in ice until its discovery at Schnidejoch in the Bernese Alps during the exceptionally hot summer of 2003. It will be kept at the Bern Historical Museum. An animation tells visitors the story of this fascinating find.
