Sensitive Material
Accidents are part of everyday life – inevitably, they are an invisible threat. Yet despite their association with horror and destruction, images of accidents can be appraised as beautiful, attractive even. But why is that? Exploring these facets of accidents, I draw on existing imagery but also embark on my own photographic journeys to accident sites and damaged vehicles.
