Designing New Tools to Improve Healthcare Personnel Communication Channels and Reduce Silos in Emergency Departments
The reduction of communication silos in Emergency Departments could enhance healthcare practitioners' performance substantially and therefore save numerous lives. This research presents three case studies using human-centred design, ethnographic research, and co-creation, to tackle synchronised management, information flow and cultural change.
