Franziska Müller-Reissmann
Where can you be found at the ZHdK?
In the Material Archive, which is part of the MIZ. You can find me in the collection on the gallery level of the library on the 5th floor or in the office next to it. Otherwise, I spend a lot of time running around between the workshop and seminar rooms.
What topics are you personally working on at the moment?
I'm working on the yellow meranti tree, iron and cellulose.
Who would you like to swap roles with for six months?
With Susanne Schumacher from the Digital Council. And then I would rename it Analog Council. That would be changed again afterwards, of course, but at least there would have been some chaos. Incidentally, I don't think there's enough chaos at this university. It's all very well organized, but you can't give birth to a dancing star that way.
What is your personal definition of design?
I don't have a personal definition of design. I could offer one for material, but that would be a very long text...
Where do you see the Department of Design in 2050?
At Toni campus, I hope!
