Arno Thöni is ADC Switzerland «Student of the Year»
Arno Thöni, alumnus of the subject area Cast / Audiovisual Media, was awarded as «Student of the Year 2026» by ADC Switzerland (Art Directors Club Switzerland).
ADC Switzerland annually rewards outstanding communication in order to set the standard for the industry. In addition to bronze, silver and gold cubes and the grand prix, the ADC presents the «Student of the Year» award.
This year, the award went to Arno Thöni for his Bachelor diploma project «Lingua Eterna», a short film about young Rhaeto-Romanic musicians.
Between loss and memory, young Rhaeto-Romanic musicians consciously preserve their cultural identity. Using staged and documentary content, «Lingua Eterna» questions what home means and how a minority language can develop further as an artistic expression.
Arno Thöni's project was also nominated for the Sponsorship Award Design by ZHdK.
