Boys in dresses?
A research evening at the Villa Langmatt, Baden
Three short lectures with extensive visual material by Martin Kamer, Dr. Maria Spitz and Prof. Katharina Tietze convey the changing forms of children's clothing in the period from 1840 to the 1920s. The focus is on the question to what extent the clothes are gender-specific. The starting point is the wardrobe of the three Brown brothers, who grew up in the Villa Langmatt.
