Funding for the "Digital Health Design Living Lab"

Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken and her team have successfully obtained a DIZH grant to establish a practice-oriented innovation structure over several years. Under the leadership of the ZHdK, the "Digital Health Design Living Lab" (DHD Living Lab) is to be created together with UZH and ZHAW.The aim of the DHD Living Lab is to establish an interdisciplinary structure for research and development projects and to form profiles of excellence in the context of digitalisation, health, ethics and design. It serves to collaborate in the interest of high-quality, human-centred and value-based healthcare and to redesign it. The public will be actively involved in exploring needs and preferences and designing innovative solutions. Further information on the project: www.dizh.ch/dhd-living-lab

Also successful in the DIZH structure call was Max Rheiner, Department of Design, , Interaction Design. He will be involved in another innovation structure for the development and testing of autonomous systems. "Shared Large-scale Infrastructure for the Development and Safe Testing of Autonomous Systems" (LINA) forms the operational basis of a real and virtual infrastructure for research, development and safe testing of autonomous systems in an internationally unique test setup in the Canton of Zurich.
