ADC Student of the year: Awards for projects by Cast/Audiovisual Media

The ADC Awards are among the most important creative competitions in the advertising industry. Last weekend, the members of ADC Switzerland judged 431 entries and awarded prizes to the most creative, outstanding and groundbreaking works - including two projects by alumni of the Department of Design in the subject area Cast / Audiovisual Media:

  • "Student of the Year" award for diploma thesis "Vergiss.mich.nie" by Elena Clavadetscher and Yvonne Haberstroh (Bachelor Cast / Audiovisual Media): "Veriss.mich.nie" is an Instagram series about the fate of Swiss Verding children. In the fictional story, Anna is 14 years old when she is hired out to a farm. Anna tries to draw attention to her situation and come to terms with what she has experienced - her stories can now be found in the highlights on her Instagram channel.
  • Student Nominees award for diploma thesis "The Morning After" by Vera Gut (Bachelor Cast / Audiovisual Media): The English-language Instagram magazine "The Morning After" deals with the emotional side of sex and sexuality among young women. Three short videos give more context on different topics. The magazine aims to provide young women with more support, answers and a platform to share
