Diploma project «senso» honoured with James Dyson Award Switzerland
The James Dyson Award Switzerland was presented again in 2024. The award recognises creative and sustainable concepts from students of engineering and product and industrial design. The «senso» project by Nadine Brandenberg from the Bachelor's Major in Industrial Design won the «Runner Up Dyson Award 2024» in Switzerland.
«senso» is an innovative medical device for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, a common complication of diabetes that causes nerve damage and can lead to pain and numbness in the feet. Based on research showing that electrical stimulation can significantly alleviate the symptoms of the disease, «senso» was developed by Nadine Brandenberg in collaboration with ETH start-up Mynerva.
