Deciphering Traces
Dozens of ceramic shards, accompanied by information panels and digital media: archaeological fragments are often difficult to understand from a layperson’s point of view, and exhibitions can quickly become overwhelming. How, then, can a deeper engagement with such objects be encouraged? In cooperation with the Department of Archaeology of the University of Zurich, an interactive exhibitions concept was developed. It brings the process of understanding a fragment to life and provides insights into the work of archaeologists.
