Paper:Play

Developed as a manifesto through a series of dynamic posters, «Paper:Play» transforms paper into a time-based medium. Situated between interaction and graphic design, the project seeks to challenge the viewer’s perception and expectations of printed matter.

Through the use of conductive and thermochromic inks, the posters shift through states of visibility, referencing screen-based interaction while contraposing it with material latency.
In a digital culture defined by seamless interaction and constant acceleration, this thesis questions how attention is shaped and how meaning is constructed through playful yet slow and engaged observation.
